Swag
A safe space for discussion and reflection, drawing strength from the perspectives of women in the creative industry. These sessions strive to shed light on the ongoing gender nuances within the design sector

Role: team co-founder
Swag stands for Supportive Women Are Groundbreaking.
The initiative emerged from a desire to showcase the journeys of these women beyond the visual realm of their projects. Within this space, we delve into the paths and challenges these women have encountered throughout their careers, shedding light on what it means to be a woman in the creative industry.
Over the course of two seasons, Swag has welcomed 8 speakers, each granted complete freedom to choose the topic and format of their talk. The objective is to share personal experiences, fostering an exchange with attendees.
Our aim in each session is to create an environment where each speaker feels secure in sharing both personal and professional aspects, enriching the perspective of our studio's designers and the broader audience.
Crucially, Swag has played a pivotal role in raising awareness about existing gender disparities in the design field. It has also highlighted the prevalence of microaggressions in our professional lives.
Among the diverse topics covered in Swag sessions are the significance of mental health and vulnerability, imposter syndrome, the impact of economic contexts, the power of language and vocabulary, and menstrual health in the workplace, to mention a few.
🥸 Why I selected this project? In this internal project, I had the opportunity to build a team of wonderful female colleagues from scratch to launch and consolidate the initiative. It has become a benchmark within the studio for internal initiatives that truly resonate and have a lasting impact. I managed to inspire my colleagues and keep them inspired, ensuring the initiative continues to thrive even if I am no longer part of the studio.
