Designit, 2023
Client: Finsa
Team: service designer, data analyst / marketing specialist
Role: service designer

We embarked on a comprehensive exploration of the company's key locations, spanning offices, showrooms, and factories across Spain and Portugal. Integral to the project was a deep dive into cultural nuances, extending beyond geographic considerations to encompass the intricacies of the work culture. A pivotal focus for our client was nurturing strong human connections and fostering trust between their staff and clients.

The main objective of this short-term project was the strategic definition of value-driven activities for an innovative WOW space in Madrid. This unique space typology goes beyond showcasing materials and capabilities, aiming to serve as a hub connecting various facets of the wood industry ecosystem, locally and globally.

Following extensive fieldwork, inclusive of on-site visits and crucial interviews with key daily profiles, we crafted a comprehensive overview. This involved analyzing what has proven effective, areas slated for improvement or reinforcement, leading to a high-level strategic vision for their new space.

Conducting collaborative sessions, we proposed and selected high-value activity ideas, aligning with every link in the chain. These activities are designed to activate the new space, embodying the client's distinctive hallmark of human warmth. The focal points revolved around three key axes: connection, knowledge, and inspiration.

🥸 Why I selected this project? Due to the nature of the project, I had the opportunity to blend three areas that have been crucial in my professional journey: service design, architecture and spatial understanding, and strategic thinking. We made sure to keep the focus on the human aspect, truly understanding that maintaining the client's warm and close culture was essential. Understanding the client's personality became a key element in our approach.
